Differently-abled candidates can apply for education scholarship assistance!

The Collector of Chennai District J. Vijayarani has informed that all the differently-abled candidates interested in availing the differently-abled education scholarship can down the application online, fill up the same and submit it in the Office of the Differently-abled Welfare.
In a notification released by the Chennai District Collector in this regard, it is mentioned:
“For the differently-abled students studying from the 1st Standard to +2, ITI, Diploma, Graduate Courses, postgraduate Courses, medical graduate/postgraduate courses, Eng9ineering graduation/post-graduation courses, an education scholarship assistance of Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 7000/-
For the vision-impaired students studying from the 9th Standard, education scholarship from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 6000/- is offered.
The application form to avail of the above scholarship is available on the website: www.chennai.nic.in. – in the section government departments- differently-abled welfare.
This application has to be downloaded filled up, and the signature must be obtained from the concerned school principal or headmaster, attached with all the requisite documents asked for and sent by post to the following address:

Education Scholarship from the Central Government: Further, the differently-abled candidates studying in the 9th Standard or above and interested in availing the Central Government Education Scholarship offered by the Central Department for the welfare of and development of the differently-ables, can apply online - website: www.scholarship.gov.in - before 15th November.”
