The special vaccination camps for Covid-19 infection have been doing sensational work now!!
On Sunday, 26th September, many special vaccination camps were held in various parts belonging to Chennai. People thronged these vaccination camps with huge enthusiasm. In Chennai on Sunday, the vaccination camps have administered 213,763 or 2.13 lakhs of doses.
It was brought out by the statement from GCC that the chief minister of TN Mr. M.K. Stalin has requested everybody to get vaccinated as soon as possible. As a result, GCC has been taking huge interest and has been organising special vaccination camps for the Chennai residents at various places by following the guidelines of the government.
On 26th August, in the 200 wards in Chennai, special vaccination camps administered vaccines to 135000 persons at 400 special camps. Truth is that many of these vaccination camps have been near the homes of the residents and due to this they have been showing huge interest to get vaccinated.
On 12th September, intense vaccination camps were held in various localities in the Chennai city. Truth is that a total of 191350 vaccine doses were given to the residents. Last week on 19th September, at 1600 intense vaccination camps in Chennai a total of 202931 Covid vaccines were administered.
Yesterday, 26th September, at the 200 wards in Chennai, as many as 32,70,822 first vaccination doses were given and 16,86,550 second vaccination doses were given. In total, 4957372 Corona doses were administered in Chennai alone. It is now revealed that in Chennai till 25th of September both government/GCC and private hospitals have administered 600757 vaccines.
