NEET throughout the country today (12th September)! The regulations!

National Entrance-cum-Eligibility Test, NEET, a pass which is mandatory to pursue medical graduate courses MBBS & BD S is being conducted today (Sunday, 12th September) Throughout the country.

3862 NEET Centres have been set up throughout the country.

NEET is conducted in many languages – 13 – including English and Tamil!

16 Lakhs students have applied to write NEET.

112889 students have applied from the State of Tamil Nadu. Out of these, 11236 candidates are students from the government Higher Secondary Schools.

In the State of Tamil Nadu, NEET is being conducted in 18 districts.

The test is scheduled from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

The candidates have been emphasised to arrive at the examination centres at least half an hour earlier than the exam starting time!

All NEET Centres have been sprayed with germicides and disinfectants and cleaned thoroughly.

N-95 face masks will be given to the students attending the examination.

Regulations

·        The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is organisation NEET, has emphasised to the candidates that apart from Hall Ticket, ID card, Photo, 50 ml sanitiser bottle, and drinking water bottle, nothing else, such as – electronic gadgets, wristwatch, hand-bags, jewels, etc., - can be taken inside the examination centre!

·        The candidates MUST wear only light-coloured half-sleeves and they MUST NOT wear shoes!
