TN State Minister of Public works, Highways and Minor Ports E V Velu: Firm to close the 32 toll-gates in Tamil Nadu!

Jawahirulla, Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly (MLA), (of the political party Manisha Neya Makkal Katchi) raised the attention-drawing proposal.
In response to this, Tamil Nadu State Minister of Public works, Highways and Minor Ports, E V Velu, replied:
There must be only 16 Tollgates in Tamil Nadu State. However, presently, there are 49tollgates! The Minister promised that efforts will be initiated to emphasise the central government to close the excess tollgates!
