COVID-19 vaccine for children of 2-18 years likely by Oct

Director of the Delhi AIIM (All India Institute of Medical Science) Randeep Guleria has informed that experiments/test runs are being undertaken for the administration of Covaxin to infants.
Indian Medical Regulation Council (IMRC) has further granted permission to undertake trials by vaccinating the age group 2-18 with Covaxin for the 2nd & 3rd Phases of the tests.
As such, the director of Delhi AIIMS Randeep Guleria has informed that there are good prospects for the availability of Covaxin to be administered for infants in the next 2 to 3 months!
