New Website for filing Income Tax Returns!

Presently, citizens / Income Taxpayers have been using the website - www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
Now, the Central Department of Income Tax has announced that a new website has been launched for filing Income Tax returns - www. income tax gov.in.
The taxpayers can henceforth use this new website for filing Income Tax Returns.
The Central Department of Income has further announced that this new website has been in use since yesterday (Monday, 7th June) and as such, the citizens/taxpayers can use this new website to file their Income Tax returns!
