Decline in the COVID cases - COVID CURBS to be relaxed in Chennai

Whether total lockdown would continue in Chennai and in TN not!! This is now in the minds of the people of TN.
Just 3 weeks before in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu the number of Covid-19 cases were rising at an alarming rate and this caused huge concern for many. Total lock down was announced in Chennai and in Tamil Nadu to contain the spread of the infection .This issue has been brought under control in Chennai now due to some superb measures taken by the government. In certain districts of Tamil Nadu the Coronavirus cases haven’t reduced that much.
Today, 5th June 2021, the TN government is expected to announce its decision on the 2 week Covid-19 total lockdown that would come to close on Monday. In Chennai district and in other districts due to superb reduction in the Coronavirus cases now it is expected that the cubs might be relaxed.
To take stock of the condition, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin took part in a meeting with the officials yesterday. According to a top official, a decision regarding relaxations in TN would be announced on Saturday, 5th June 2021 and health and revenue officers are working out the details now. It is now learnt that districts like Chennai with decline in the number of Covid-19 cases might get some relaxation whereas other districts would have intense lockdown for some time
It must be noted that the CM recently spoke about how the lockdown cannot be there forever and it should be ended with the support of the public.
