How can I contribute Online to TN CMPRF?
  • TN CMPRF accepts online contribution through this Portal. You can click the Make Contribution option and fill the online donation form. It will lead you to the payment gateway where you can pay through 50+ Net Banking / Major Credit and Debit Cards / Wallets / Cash Card / UPI.

What are the various modes of payment for contribution ?
  • Online Donation through this portal: TN CMPRF accepts online contribution through 50+ Net Banking / Major Credit and Debit Cards / Wallets / Cash Card / UPI. Receipt can be taken immediately after successful contribution and Receipt in PDF file as an attachment will be sent to the email of the contributor.
  • Donation can also be made using UPI-VPA as tncmprf@iob. Contributors can e-mail the details of transactions along with Name, Address, Mobile Number and E-mail Id to jscmprf[at]tn[dot]gov[dot]in for obtaining receipt.
  • Offline donation through Cheque / Demand Draft drawn in favour of Chief Ministers Public Relief Fund to be sent to The Joint Secretary to Government and Treasurer, Chief Ministers Public Relief Fund, Finance (CMPRF) Department, Secretariat, Chennai 600 009. Tamil Nadu. India along with Name, Address, Mobile No. and E-mail ID of the contributor.

How will the donation receipts issued to the contributors?
  • Receipt can be taken immediately after successful contribution and Receipt in PDF file as an attachment will be sent to the email of the contributor.
  • The contributor can also download donation receipt for successful transaction by visiting Transaction History Section of the TN CMPRF portal at any point of time.

How to get receipt for Donations debited in the contributor bank account and receipt not generated?
  • In case the amount is debited in the bank account and receipt could not be generated due to power failure or Internet link failure, please click Transaction History option. This page contains all the details of the donations made by you with an option verify. Click the option verify and it will check the status of the transaction in the payment gateway and for successful transaction, receipt will be generated and also it will be sent to the email.
  • In case the status is returned as Pending, please wait for atleast 48 hours to recheck the status. In case the status is updated as failure, then a new transaction can be initiated.
  • If the amount is not debited from the contributor bank account, then only a new transaction may be initiated.

Are contributions towards the TN CMPRF exempted from Income Tax?
  • Yes, all contributions towards TN CMPRF are 100% exempted from Income Tax under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

Does TN CMPRF have a a Permanent Account Number (PAN)?
  • Yes,TN CMPRF has been allotted a Permanent Account Number (PAN) AAAGC0038F

How can NRIs or Foreign entities contribute to TN CMPRF?
  • Foreign Contributions can be done using SWIFT CODE: IOBAINBB001Indian Overseas Bank, Central Office, Chennai.
  • Foreign Contributions by NRIs or Foreign entities to Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers Public Relief Fund (CMPRF) is exempted under Section 50 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 2010 communicated vide Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India order No. F.No.11/21022/94(112A)/2015-FCRA-III dated 22/12/2015.
