Special Arrangement by Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation for special reasons!

The State Transport Corporation of the State of Tamil Nadu has come up with an interesting offer: buses can be arranged on a contract basis for certain special occasions such as weddings or deaths!
As a preventive measure against the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has imposed a lockdown! As such the services of both the public and private sector transport corporations have been rendered with no operations at all!
However, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation has been operating hundreds of special buses throughout Tamil Nadu on a contract basis for essential occasions, tasks/requirements such as weddings, deaths, etc.!
These buses are operated on a charge of Rs. 40/- per km. However, this is likely to vary depending on the city/village/location!
