All the schools which remained closed since March last year (2020), were reopened only during January this year (2021). More specifically, the schools reopened during the month of January for the students of the 10th & 12th Standards set to write the Public Examinations and for the students of the9th & 11th Standards, the schools were reopened during the month of February.

With the above situation, the schools and the students were eagerly expecting announcements on public examinations.

The Tamil Nadu State Government Minister for School Education, K. A. Sengottaiyan, had informed earlier that only the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu State will take a decision in this regard.

With detailed review meetings conducted on all aspects regarding this front regarding the organisation of the Public Examinations, the Chief Minister. Has now announced that ALL THE STUDENTS OF THE 9TH, 10TH, & 11TH Standards are declared as passed!
