In TN, class 12 board examination schedule to be announced

In a few days of time the class 12 board examinations schedule would be announced in TN and preparations have been going for this. It must be noted that the academic session for the students belonging to classes 10 and 12 have resumed in January after a long gap.
The officials stated that the preparatory works by the schools for the class 12 board examination schedules are already afoot. They added that huge effort is being taken to ensure that even those students who have dropped out due to Coronavirus pandemic attend the board examination.
In the normal circumstances, the class 12 board examinations in TN are conducted in March month and enrolment of the students would begin in December itself so as to be ready by February.
The lockdown due to Coronavirus pandemic has led to closure of schools in TN from March 2020 onwards and the students have been learning through online classes mostly.
Exam related works started:
It was later brought out by a senior official belonging to the school education department that the exam related works for class12 have started in all the schools in TN. As the class 10 board examinations would be conducted in April month only, priority has been given to the class 12 students now. It is clear that preparations for class 10 would begin later. It is important to note that all schools have been asked to prepare the list of class 12 students. Point is that the teachers have been directed to prepare the list of students who prefer online mode of education and later on these students would also be added to the list of regular students.
Information is that schools have been asked to prepare details of students who have dropped out due to pandemic. These students would also be added to the list of those appearing for the board examinations. The whole list would be prepared first and then the student’s data like photographs and class 10 and class 11 mark sheets would be sent to the directorate for further action. As a part of the preparation, works like exam fees collection, hall tickets preparations etc would be carried out
