The Reserve Bank of India decides to withdraw the of currency notes of Rs. 5, 10 and 100!

The Deputy General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India, Mahesh has informed that it has been decided to withdraw all the old currency notes of Rs. 100 by the end of March or April.

 After the demonetization a new series of currency notes of Rs. 100 in new colours were introduced in 2019.  This is in wide circulation now. The new Rs. 100 notes with violet colour look fresh indeed. So, it is gathered that the Reserve |Bank of India has decided to withdraw all the old currency of Rs. 100 denomination.

The RBI Deputy Genera |Manager shared this news during a meeting with the State Banks. He informed that the old Rs. 100 notes will be withdrawn from circulation by end |March or April. The new notes will be in circulation.
