Incessant rain leads to excess inflow in Chembarambakkam catchment areas!

Due to the recent incessant rains, there has been a substantial increase in the inflow of water in one of the main drinking water resources for the Chennai Metro City, the Chembarambakkam Lake and its water catchment areas.
Presently, the level of the Chembarambakkam stands at 22.97 feet. 127 cft (Cubic Feet) of water per second is being taken out to supply drinking water to the citizens of the Chennai Metro City.
