Special camps organised today throughout Tamil Nadu for inclusion in the Voters List!

Special camps are being organised throughout the State of Tamil Nadu from today |(Saturday, 21stNfor carrying out addition/deletion of names and other corrections such as address in the Voters’ List.
The special camps as above are organised for today and tomorrow |(Sunday, 22nd November).
The draft Voters’ List was released in the State of Tamil Nadu on 16th |November. The correction activities on this voters’ list are in progress right from that day.
Giving due consideration to the public benefit, the above special camps are being conducted in the polling booths throughout the State of Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow.
As per this, the citizens can visit these special camps and check whether their names are included in the Voters’ List. The citizens interested in adding/deleting or correcting, or change in address can the required forms in these special camps, and submit the same.
Citizens interested in adding names can furnish any one of the following documents as proof of address: Passport, Driving |Licence, Bank Passbook, Kisan Bond, Post Office Savings Account Passbook, Family Ration Card, Receipt of filing Income Tax return, rental agreement, payment receipts for electricity, water, and telephone, or payment for LPG gas cylinder or any recently received letter.
It is further announced that the citizens who will complete 18 years of age on January 2021 can also apply for inclusion of names in the Voters’ List.
It has been announced that the Final Voters’ List after the above corrections is scheduled to be released on 20th January!
