Even as the time keeps flying with 1-day after another passing, the lifeline and the day-to-day routine of the public has also kept changing! In earlier times, there would be only one device for cooking- a stove using dry wood as fuel! However, times have changed so rapidly that the question may be asked whether at a there was a wooden stove in use!! The reason is – in the present lifestyle, every house has LPG cooking gas cylinders and stoves – even in remote villages as well! At the same time, if the question whether the entire pubic is fully aware of the LPG cooking gas and its related details, the answer, unfortunately, is still a ‘NO’!!

In this aspect, most of us are not aware of the details of the tube that connects the LPG cooking gas cylinder and the stove – so we fail to carry out the regular testing of the tube that is really needed!

Please note THE TUNE CONNECTING THE LPG COOKING GAS CYLINDER AND THE STOVE MUST BE CHANGED ONCE IN 5 YEARS!

Also, one must avoid using cheaper and different-coloured tubes available in the market! Only the tubes approved by ISI (Indian Standards Institute) must be used. The Gas Cylinder tube must be of quality - IS 9573, BSEN 1762, BS 4088,  BS 3212, SI 764m IS09001.

The tube used must be 3-layered which would not create more heat and also crack easily. In case the end of the tube connecting the stove has expanded, then this tube must be changed immediately!
