Counselling for medical courses for the All India quota candidates from today!

The phase of the online counselling for admission to graduate medical courses for the All India Quota category is scheduled to commence today (Tuesday, 27th October).

The Directorate of the General Health Services (DGHS) has announced that the eligible candidates can register their personal data online and select their preferred colleges.

A 15% quota is reserved as ‘All India Quota’ for admission to the graduate medical courses – MBBS & BDS – throughout the country.

The Directorate of General Health Services organises the admission for the graduate medical courses through counselling for the seats reserved as 15% quota and the seats available in the deemed universities and the seats available in the Central Universities.

On this accord, the online counselling for the current academic year (2020-21) is set to commence today – Tuesday, 27th October.

The candidates who passed NEET |(National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) can register online for the 1st Phase of Counseling from tomorrow (28th |October) until 11.59 PM on 2nd November to confirm participation in counselling. The seat confirmation will be based on the merit/rank/list to the colleges and confirmed on 3rd and 4th November.

The detailed list of allotted seats as per quota will be released on 5th |November. The candidates who obtained seats during counselling must join the medical graduate courses in the respective colleges from 18th |November until 12th November.

As per the details released by DGHS:
  • Candidates can register online for the 2nd Phase of Counselling from 18th November to 22nd November online.
  • For admission to the deemed universities and central universities, the candidates have to register online from 10th December to 14th December.
