Next Phase of Lockdown: To continue with some more relaxations till 31st October!

The Chief Minister of Tami Nadu, E. Palaniswamy, has announced that the next Phase of lockdown imposition will continue until 12.00 Midnight, 31st October.
Apart from the relaxations already announced for the areas other than the Containment Zones, further relaxations on some more avenues have been given. Tea-shops can function from 6.00 AM to 9.00 PM and parcel services in al eateries are allowed until 10.00 PM.
A maximum of 100 persons can gather at the shooting spots for shooting films.
Whereas presently 50 fights are allowed to come to Chennai at present, now, permission has been granted for up to 100 domestic flights to Chennai Airport. All Government-based/related training institutes are allowed to function.
Though permission was given earlier for the students of the 10th to the 12th Standards to attend schools on their own preference from 1st October, this has been temporarily withdrawn giving due consideration to the safety and health of the students.
The ban on academic institutions from functioning, including schools, colleges, research institutes, etc., continues. Apart from the already allowed flight routes, the ban on international flights and suburban electric train operation continues.
The ban on religious, political and entertainment-oriented gathering of crowds continues. Similarly, the ban on movie theatres, swimming pools, and entertainment/amusement parks continues. The ban on visits to beaches, zoological parks, museums, and tourist spots continues.
The ban that not more than 5 persons can gather in public paces also continues. Further, the strict lockdown conditions in the containment zones will continue to be observed.
