From 27th September, special trains from Chennai Central to Trivandrum and Mangalore daily

Beginning from Sunday, 27th September, the Southern Railways or SR would be operating fully reserved special trains from Chennai Central to Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore daily.
It has been brought out by a release from the SR that MGR Chennai Central- Thiruvananthapuram- MGR Chennai Central special train would leave Chennai at 7:45 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11:45 am next day. From Thiruvananthapuram Central, the train would leave at 3pm in the evening and reach MGR Chennai Central at 7:40 am next morning. This would be in the return direction.
It is important to mention that the MGR Chennai Central-Mangalore-MGR Chennai Central Superfast special train would leave Chennai at 8:10pm and reach Mangalore Central at 12:10pm next day.
From Mangalore Central at 1:30 pm and reach MGR Chennai central at 525 am the next day and this would be in the return direction. On Friday, reservations for these trains would begin. Point is all Covid-19 protocols as prescribed by the centre would be followed strictly.
