Another pleasant day on cards for Chennai and KTC and another day for North Tamil Nadu with Chennai, Kancheepuram, Vellore, Tiruvallur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Krishnagiri, Chenalpat all likely to get monsoonish rains with no thunder and lightening
Chennai - Clouds moving in from NW and the drizzles will turn into light to steady rains in coming hours. Enjoy the climate.
Reason for Rains - With Low Pressure Moving into Land via Telangana, we get favorable wind direction from NW. So North TN including Chennai will be active for next 3-4 days with some rains.
Yesterday was the 1st widespread rains in September, we need more like this.

A low pressure area lies over Westcentral Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coast and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels tilting southwestwards with height.
