Be careful about these sources of added sugars that often go unnoticed

Weight gain and obesity in us could be caused due to sugars is well known. Many of us eat food with added sugar and it often goes unnoticed. We start putting on weight as we age and this is due to the slowing down of metabolism.

We must be careful about the different sources of added sugar in the diet that often goes unnoticed.

Avoid tomato ketchup intake:
Many of us consume tomato ketchup due to its taste. This has got 22gms of sugar in 100gms of the product. So, please limit or avoid this intake of tomato ketchup.

Avoid fruit yoghurt:
It is believed that 100gms of fruit yoghurt has got 14gms of added sugar. By consuming this we could gain excess weight.  It is well known that various brands of companies are selling fruit or flavoured yoghurt.

Avoid packed and stored fruit juice intake:
It is good to consume fresh fruit juice but not the fruit juice that has been packed and stored. Fact here is these packed fruit juices are not real extracts but have flavours with added sugars. This could make us gain weight.  

Avoid consuming crackers:
Flat dry baked food prepared using flour crackers are consumed by many of us these days. Many of us do not know that the crackers could also be a source of added sugar. Please try to avoid eating crackers to prevent weight gain.

Avoid consuming salad dressings:
Poured on a sauce or spread on the bread of sandwich, salad dressings have added sugars. It is important to avoid eating salad dressings.
