Permission for homeopathic treatment for coronavirus-infected patients!

Permission has been granted to provide homeopathic treatment to house-quarantined coronavirus-infected patients.
Accordingly, the Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation Prakash has allowed the homeopathic treatment to be tried at first in the Ambattur Zone by the Homeopathy Doctors Poovendhan and Kooperunthevi to commence homeopathic treatment for the coronavirus patients in this zone.
It is expected that the switch to homeopathic treatment may be tried out in other zones as well in the coming weeks.
It is noteworthy that this permission for undertaking homeopathic treatment has been given with the background that Siddha Treatment Centres have already been authorized for the Siddha treatment.
Presently, more than 2.5 Lakhs persons have been affected by the raging coronavirus infection. Taking strong note of the point that the right cue for this virus is yet to be invented, most of the treatments undertaken emphasizes strengthening the body immunity against illnesses.
Accordingly, under allopathic treatment, medicines of Vitamin C and Zinc are given and in Siddha treatment, treatment including taking ‘kabasura kudineer’ and ‘nilavembu kudineer’ as recommended by the State Government of Tamil Nadu.
In homeopathic treatment, the state government recommended the usage of the medicine known as ‘Arsenic Album’. It was also informed that taking these tablets at 4 tablets per day for 3 days would strengthen the body immunity against illness.
The central ministry AYUSH also emphasized that the above medicine can be taken. The state governments including Rajasthan, Andhra, Kerala, and Karnataka recommended that the coronavirus patients be treated with the arsenic album. Subsequently, in the regions under the jurisdiction of the Greater Chennai Corporation, procurement of Arsenic Album was undertaken on behalf of the State Ministry of health for Rs. 3 Crores and further activities have been initiated to distribute these among 6 lakhs poor people.
In this situation, as a next stage, approval has been given for administering Homeopathy treatment for patients affected by the coronavirus pandemic under house quarantine. In this regard, Homeopathic Doctor Poovendhan shared:
‘Homeopathic treatment has been successfully used successfully in treatment and control of various infectious diseases including yellow fever, cholera, malaria, dengue, and Spain flu fever. In a similar procedure, it is possible to cure the coronavirus infection as well. For this reason, the Central AYUSH Ministry has been recommending administrations of medicines such as Arsenic Album and others.
Hence, the State Government o of Tamil Nadu must give permission for homeopathic treatment of the coronavirus-infected patients throughout the state of Tamil Nadu!”
