The number of people receiving treatment for coronavirus in chennai fell to 20 thousand

Chennai being the hotspot city for the widespread infection of corona virus, the recovering rates has dropped the number of people on treatment. Since 52,287 people recovered from the infection, there are just 20,271 people on treatment in various hospitals, care centres and home quarantine.
In Chennai, Kodambkkam (2500) has the maximum number of cases in hospital followed by Anna Nagar and Teynampet where the number of cases on treatment stands above 2000. The corona infections surpassed rapidly since March in the city. Royapettah, Tondiarpet, Teynambpet, Kodambakkam, Anna Nagar, Valasaawakkam, Adyar and Ambatur had the majority of the infected cases.
To curb the rapid spread of the virus, the corporation authorities involved many volunteers in finding people with symptoms and providing them medical facilities. As on Thursay, 1,261 cases ere tested positive in the city that added to the total cases affect by the disease at 73,728 and the death toll at 1,169.
The Chennai city thugh tested many new positive cases, the recovery rate stands higher than the positive cases. In this situation, as on 7 July morning, there are just 20 thousand cases treated on hospitals. In the past nine days, 15,461 people recovered from the covid 19. This increasing recovery rate marks the efoorts of doctors and health department workers. The number of people in hospitals and care units as on Friday are as folloing.
