Due to the unrest that has been created by the attacks by the Chinese forces in the Line of Control, there is restlessness in the country to boycott the Chinese goods and services. At the same, the Chinese units are dominating the Indian technology industries especially with the smart phones and their applications like tik tok, helo which has millions of users to it.
The Indian government put a band on 59 Chinese applications based on the fact of privacy of Indian people data. There is fear that these companies may share the Indian human resource data with the Chinese government. Hence, government issues an order to ban these applications and they were officially removed from Google and Apple play stores this morning.
The Indian section of the Tik tok has said on this issue that they are ready to combine their privacy and security policies as per the Indian privacy norms and follow the Indian rules. The organization said that the Indian human data wont be shared with any of the countries including their mother country, China. They would give respect to the personal data of the Indian users. The Indian section of the Chinese organisation told after the ban was imposed this morning.
