Anna Nagar supersedes Royapettah in Covid cases

Chennai being the hot-spot for the corona spread in the state has 21,681 cases on treatment in various hospitals and corona care units across the 15 zones of the city. Since the recognition of the virus in the city, there are 33 thousand people who got discharged from hospitals after curing the disease whereas as 846 people lost their lives on the pandemic.
Previously, the Chennai Corporation used to release the total number of cases affected from the beginning in the 15 zones as a whole. Since the cases are growing in numbers to avoid the panic, the corporation has decided to release the number of people in treatment and discharged separately from yesterday.
As per the latest information, 55 thousand cases have been tested positive for covid 19 in the city out which 59.68% are males and 40.32% are females.
Royapettah was on the lead with the total cases whereas Anna nagar tops the list with the number of active cases in hospitals and treatments. The number of discharges cases is Royapettah crosses 4000 that relaxes the people in the surroundings.
