Chennai to have to have heat wave on Saturday

For the next 24 hours, there would be heat wave conditions with temperatures at 42 degrees Celsius in Chennai city.
Nungambakkam recorded 39.6 degrees Celsius (1.5 degrees above normal) and Meenambakkam recorded 41.2 degrees Celisus (2.4 degrees above normal) on Friday.
The residents belonging to Nungambakkam found lives very tough yesterday as the humidity was 85 percent. Meenambakkam was little better and the humidity there was 61 percent. It is now revealed by the weathermen that the heat wave conditions might prevail over north TN including Chennai and its neighboring places.
From 11:30 in the morning till 3:30 in the evening, the public as well as farmers were asked not t expose them to the scorching sun.
