In Chennai, from Sunday to Wednesday there would be ban on meat, grocery shops etc

The Corona virus cases have been on the rise inspite of the lock down.
In this situation, the Chennai Corporation had announced that the shops selling groceries, meat and bakeries etc would be closed. All the zones belonging to the Chennai Corporation would be closely monitored by the officials and by the flying squads.
The Corporation also made it clear that those shops in Chennai that remained opened would be sealed.
It must be taken into account that TN has reported as many as 1683 Corona virus cases with 20 deaths. As many as 752 persons have recovered from the Corona virus infection and have returned back to their homes.
