Chennai hospitals must have sanitizing equipment: Chennai commissioner

To stop the spreading of Coronavirus, it is important that disinfectants must be sprayed using spraying equipment.
The Chennai Corporation Commissioner, Mr. G. Prakash on Monday spoke about how the hospitals irrespective of their sizes must have spraying equipment. He warned that if the hospitals do not have the equipment then the hospital would be dealt with severely.
For the purpose of inspecting the private hospitals, the civic body has asked deputy commissioners, chief engineers, and other senior officials to inspect the private hospitals.
According to Mr. G. Prakash, it is very clear that he would be inspecting the bigger government as well as private hospitals. He revealed that the hospitals could become potential centers for the Coronavirus infection to spread easily.
It was later mentioned by an official that the hospital door handles, chairs, tables, railings, and counters etc could carry the virus and infect many. Therefore, the hospitals must be disinfected more frequently.
