31 higher officials deployed for Public Exam Invigilation

The Public Examinations for the students studying in 10th, +1, and +2 classes in Tamil Nadu are scheduled to commence on 2nd March.

As such, there are around 4000 examination centres set up in the stat.

2587000 students are all set to write the public examinations for the above-mentioned 3 classes.

In this scenario, the Examination Board has sent certain rules and regulations to the examinations supervisors (invigilators) regarding the kinds of actions to be taken in case any of the students indulge in any malpractice in the examination centre. It has listed16 types of punishments in this regard to be meted out to the offending students by the invigilators.

The Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Education has strongly indicated that stringent actions will be immediately taken on erring students with the help of the invigilators!

Further, apart from the various regulations already imposed to prevent any malpractices in the Public Examinations, the Examination Board has initiated  new action:

As per this, the secretary of the State Government Department of School Education has appointed 31 higher officials. These higher officials comprise of the directors of state education department commissions, joint directors, and assistant directors.

16 types of punishments
The State Examination Board has sent certain rules and regulations regarding the types of actions to be taken in case students indulge in any malpractices, It  has instructed that 16 types of punishments are to administered n the erring students.

Students carrying bit-notes or books while in the examination centre will be removed from the examination centre.

If any student indulges in copying from other students or in case it is found that they are taking external help, a written statement will be obtained from such erring students. They cannot participate in the examinations anymore! Further, they cannot write any public examinations for the next 1 year!
