Prospects of rain with thunder in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects for rain with thunder in the next 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The low-pressure zone which was prevailing over the western Bay of Bengal has weakened. Due to the thermal convective rain phenomenon, there are prospects of heavy rain in the districts of Erode, Dharmapuri, Salem, and Krishnagiri day-after-tomorrow (27th October).
Due to the development of a cyclonic format, there are prospects for heavy rains in South Tamil Nadu and coastal districts on the 28th and 29th of October.
Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There are prospects of rain in 1 or 2 places.
