Chandrayan-2 in the sky now to facilitate the study of the Moons South Pole!

The space vehicle Chandrayan-2 was launched with the mission to facilitate the study of the Moons the South Pole with the GSLV-Mark-3M-1 rocket today (Monday, 22nd July).

As it happened, the original schedule for Chandrayan-2 was on 15th July when there were was only 54 minutes and 24 seconds after the countdown commenced, ISRO scientists found that there were some technical snags in the rocket. Subsequently, the countdown for launching the rocket was stopped.

However, repair works commenced immediately, and presently, everything had been set right - Thus, the space vehicle Chandrayan-2 took off through GSLV Mark 3 M1 Rocket was launched at the Sriharikota (Andhra State) Satish Dhawan Space Research Centre today (Monday, 22nd July)!
