US Consulate invites students for debate Competition

The Chennai US Consulate General is seeking students in age group between 18-25 years old for participation in a debate competition on US and Indian constitutional law.
The selection is to be held across university campuses in Chennai, Trichy, Kochi and Bengaluru, between 26th July and 14th September.
The above debate competition is conducted in collaboration with Loyola College.
A press release explained that this debate competition will foster a greater understanding of the values and laws enshrined in our two democracies respective constitutions.
There are prizes to be won! The top prize will be a MacBook Pro. Additional prizes include subscriptions to legal databases and trophies. All participants will receive certificates. The debate will be in English. Entrance is free.
The event will be held in Chennai at The Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University on 19th August.
