The Directorate of Matriculation Schools has released the new academic fees structure fixed for the private schools.

In this regard, a PLI (Public Litigation Interest) petition has been filed in the Madurai branch of the Chennai High Court requesting to upload the revised academic fees structure fixed by the Directorate of Matriculations Schools on the internet to facilitate public access. A circular has been sent to all the District Primary Education Officers in this regard.

Meanwhile, the list of private schools and the revised academic fee structure as fixed by the Academic Fees Fixing Committee has been uploaded on the website: www.tamilnadufeecommittee.com.

Subsequently, the district primary education officers have to take this lis for reference. Then, they have to compare this list with the available district data regarding the list of approved schools and review. They need to prepare a list of approved schools for which the revised fee structure has not yet been fixed.

These schools will have to apply the School Fees Fixing committee seeking the revised fee structure by sending a circular regarding the same.

Apart from this, the district primary education officers will have to check and confirm whether the schools in their respective districts are collecting fees as fixed by the committee and send a report on the same before 1st July.
