Bank selection exam announced to fill up 12000 vacant posts

IBPS has announced that plans to conduct the written examination to fill up the vacant posts in all the Public Sector Banks – IBPS RRB 2019.

The examination will be conducted for the selection and recruitment of 12000 vacant posts of office assistants and Officers. This announcement has been released on the official website of IBPS last Friday (14th June).

Details of vacancies :

Total vacancies : 12000

Office Assistants – 737

Office – Scale-1 – 4856

Officer – Scale-2 – 1746

Officer- Scale-3 – 207

Date of examination :

IBPS RRB 2019 examinations will be in 2 stages – Preliminary written examination and the Main written examination. Selection will be based on the performance in these 2 examinations.

The preliminary examination IBPS RRB 2019 for the officers of the post Scales 1, 2, and 3 is scheduled to be conducted on 3rd, 4th, and 11th August. It has been informed that the Main Examination is scheduled on 22nd September.

The Main Examination on 22nd September will be for the selection of both Scale-2 and Scale-3 Officers.

IBPS RRB 2019 preliminary examination for the posts of office assistants is scheduled to be conducted on 17th, 18th, and 25th August. The Main examination for this category is scheduled on 29th September.

Age Limit :

Officer- Scale-3 : Candidates must be in the age group 21 to 40. In other words, they should not have been born before 3rd June 1979 or born after 31st May 1998.

Officers – Scale -1 : Candidates must be in the age group 18 -30. In other words, they should not have been born before 3rd June 1989 or born after 31st May 2000.

Office Assistants : Candidates must be in the age group 18-28. In other words, they should not have been born before 3rd June 1991 or born after 1st June 2001.

Age Limit concession : An age concession of 5 years is applicable for the candidates in SC/ST category. An age concession of 10 years is applicable for differently-abled candidates. An age concession of 9 years is applicablele for divorced and widows.
