Prospects of temperature going up in 10 districts

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of temperature going up by 2 to 4 Degrees Celsius on Saturday (today, 16th March) in 10 districts in Tamil Nadu.

An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre shared:

‘A dry climate will persist today in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Further, there are prospects of temperature going up by 2 to 4 Degrees Celsius in a few places in the interior Tamil Nadu. Especially, the temperature will be up in the districts of Vellore, Krishnagiri, Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Perambalur, Karur, and Dindigul,

The Chennai Metro City skies will be clear. There is a prospect of a maximum of  35 Degrees Celsius being recorded.

In the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, there are prospects of mild to medium rain on Sunday, 17th March.

On Friday, the impact of heat had somewhat reduced in several places in Tamil Nadu. A maximum temperature of 101 Degrees was recorded in Tiruthani. Dharmapuri and Salem recorded 100 Degrees. Madurai (airport) and Vellore recorded 98 Degrees.
