New annual packs from Airtel

Airtel had recently launched a few long-term tariff plans in the country. In the same line, now, it has rolled out data packs with yearly validity.
Rs 597 and Rs 998 offers
The two new offers from Airtel are Rs 597 and Rs 998. Both the plans offer unlimited national voice calling facility including local and STD. There is also 300 national free SMS provided with renewal period of 28 days. In the Rs 597 plan, users get 6GB of free internet without any daily usage limit. The validity is 168 days.
With the Rs 998 pack, users get 12GB of 4G internet without any kind of daily data restriction. This comes with 336 days validity.
Coming on to the Airtel tariff plans, the benefits are not so tempting to get subscribed. Instead of these plans, users would rather go for Rs 1699 plan where they get 1GB of daily data limit and free voice calling including local and STD, national roaming calls, and 100 free daily SMS. The total validity of the plan is 365 days in India.
Splitting this to monthly rates, the monthly price spent will be Rs 141 per month. This will be better as compared to Rs 168 and Rs 336 Airtel plans. The plans for period of 80 to 90 days costs of the range Rs 398 and Rs 998. There is one more advantage of the annual plan where the users will have to pay for just one year, and there is no need get reminded month on month.
There is also free subscription provided to Airtel TV app with which users can get access to a number of free TV channels, movies, TV shows and more from Hotstar, HOOQ, etc.
