Dry climate to persist for 2 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the dry climate will persist in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for 2 days.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre further informed that there are prospects of mild rain in the southern coastal regions of Tamil Nadu on 13th and 14th January.

The frozen snowfall will persist for the next 2 nights in the mountainous regions of Nilgiri district.

The heavy mist and snowfall that prevailed in the Valparai region over the last few days have abated. A minimum temperature of 5.2 Degrees Celsius was recorded in Ooty and 9.9 Degrees Celsius was recorded at Kodaikkanal.

No rainfall has been recorded in the last 24 hours. As regards the Chennai Metro City, it will remain cloudy. Foggy conditions will prevail during the early mornings.
