TN government extends the regularization of unauthorized building scheme

The latest update from Tamil Nadu State government confirmed the extension of the scheme for regularizing unauthorized building by another six months. The scheme was initially launched on June 22, 2017 and has witness four extensions already said the sources of state office governing the real estate concerns.
Housing and Urban development department extended this scheme has accumulated over 700 applications seeking regularization across Tamil Nadu. The numbers are considered too low to close the scheme with the announced deadline as the building violations has not been yet cleared in accordance with the rules of Madras High court.
Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu Assessment and Collection of Amount for Exemption of Buildings Rules, 2017 has instructed the owners of the buildings before July 1, 2007 are eligible for applying the regularization scheme.
