Tata Sky into the broadband race competing Reliance Jio

Tata Sky has started the broadband operations in 14 cities across the nation mentioned in its official website of the company. Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Mira Bhayandar, Thane, Noida and Pimpri Chinchwad are the mentioned cities under the radar of proposed broadband network zones of Tata Sky.

It is very evident that the company is trying to grab a big bite of customers with exciting offers opposing Reliance Jio GigaFiber that is set to launch in various cities of India. Customers need to enter the address on the official website of Tata Sky to check the service availability in the particular locality.

Act Fibernet, BSNL, Bharti Airtel and other established service providers are moving ahead of Reliance Jio offering discounted rates of broadband internet services with unlimited free call options and other data benefits. The first player of DTH connection in India, Tata Sky has now established the new broadband services to public in the above mentioned cities.

Under one month package Tata Sky offers data plan with five speeding options. The plan with 5 Mbps speed priced as Rs 999 and 10 Mbps fixed for Rs 1,150 with different data packages. An installation charge of Rs 1,200 is fixed once the company recognizes the connection zones of the locality.

Under 3 months package Tata Sky offers speed options of 5, 10, 30, 50, 100 Mbps with the subscription fee of Rs 2,997, Rs 3,450, Rs 4,500, Rs 5,400 and Rs 7,500 respectively. The five-month package includes 5 Mbps plan costing Rs 4,995, 10 Mbps plan- Rs 5,750, 30 Mbps plan- Rs 7,500, 50 Mbps plan- Rs 9,000 and 100 Mbps plan- Rs 12,500. There are other similar bulk packages based on time period. The maximum plan of 12 months tier includes 5, 10, 30, 50 and 100 Mbps speed limits for Rs 11,988, Rs 13,800, Rs 18000, Rs 21,600 and Rs 30,000 respectively.
