The telecom operators stopped the Aadhaar based verification from October 26 for all the existing and new customers as per the order of the apex court.

DoT instructed all the telecom providers across the country for the alternate process of KYC digital verification with live photo and scanned images of proof of identity and addresses. The digital encrypted code of the individual will be derived from the new updated system that will verify the person for obtaining the new telecom network.
