Prospects of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu due to thermal convection

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of heavy rains in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the phenomenon of thermal convection.
The higher officials explained that over the last few days, the prospects of rains have reduced and the average temperature in cities have increased to 35 Degrees Celsius to 38 Degrees Celsius. This has caused the occurrence of the phenomenon of thermal convection. This may lead to the prospects of medium rain or rain with thunder in a few places in the next 4 days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
There are even prospects of heavy rains in 1 or 2 places.
