Bank of Baroda wins award for official language implementation

Bank of Baroda, a premier Public Sector Bank, was today awarded with first prize among all nationalized banks under Rajbhasha Kirti Award Scheme of Government of India for the year 2017-18.
This award has been given to Bank of Baroda for outstanding achievement in the implementation of the official language policy. The award was received by Shri Mayank K Mehta, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda at the hands of the His Excellency Vice President of India Shri Venkaiah Naidu in the presence of Honorable Union Minister of Home Affairs Shri Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju in New Delhi.
In addition to this, the Bank Town Official Language Implementation Committeefunctioning under the convenorship of the Bank at Varanasi was also awarded with the First prize in linguistic region ‘A’.
