For healthy kidneys, try these vegetables that are kidney friendly

One of the most important organs present in us is kidneys. These bean shaped kidneys removes the waste products from our blood plus play superb role in regulating the fluid levels in us. For smooth functioning of kidneys it is essential to include certain vegetables. It is revealed that these vegetables cleanse, purify, protect and improve the performance of kidneys. For our kidney health it must that we avoid fats or highly processed foods etc.
 
There are certain vegetables that are superb for our kidneys and these vegetables are

Red bell pepper:

They contain low potassium and hence they are kidney friendly vegetable. These red bell peppers could be consumed by adding to the salads or in raw form also. It is superb to mention that red bell peppers are rich in vitamin a. C. B6, fibre and folic acid etc.

Cabbage

It is a leafy green, white biennial plant that is consumed by many of us. This cabbage does not have potassium and is said to be good for liver and kidneys. The phytochemicals in cabbage does tremendously in fighting against free radicals that is responsible for cancer etc. The presence of vitamin K, C, B6 etc makes cabbage a superb vegetable for the kidneys.

Cauliflower:

This cauliflower is an annual plant and it belongs to family ‘Brassicaceae’. One important point to note is cauliflower reproduces by seed. The presence of fibre plus folic acid in cauliflower makes it a kidney friendly vegetable. Cleansing the kidneys and strengthening is provided by cauliflower.

Asparagus:

It is known that asparagus belongs to genus ‘Asparagus’ and it is a flowering perennial plant species. The asparagine present in this vegetable cleanses the kidneys. Kidney stones are prevented. Asparagus is rich in vitamins A, C, E and K plus fibres etc and is kidney friendly vegetable.

Spinach:

This is also one important kidney friendly vegetable and is consumed by many. The vitamin A is needed for the production of healthy epithelial tissue and spinach is rich in this vitamin A. The epithelial tissue lines the small filtration tubes inside kidneys and urinary tract. The beta carotene in spinach plays an important part in increasing the immunity plus in eye protection.

Peas and green beans:

Both of them are superb sources of fibres and are low in potassium. The blood sugar levels are kept stable by these fibres. By this excess weight gain and diabetes is prevented and the kidney health gets improved.

Kale:

Grown for its edible leaves, kale is also an important kidney friendly vegetable and is having low potassium. For proper functioning of our kidneys vitamins A, C, calcium and others play huge role. These are present in kale in high amounts and hence kale should be consumed for our kidney health.

Garlic:

This garlic could be consumed by adding to the foods or by eating in raw form also. The diuretic properties of garlic plays a vital role in maintaining our of kidney health. Excess sodium and water is removed from our body by diuretics.
