Traffic diversions in Chennai for Independence day rehearsals

An elaborate information has been released by the Chennai Metro City Traffic Police in order to manage the traffic on the occasion of Independence Day, especially for 3 days on August 10, August 11, August 13 as rehearsals will be conducted for the occasion on the Kamarajar Salai for the Independence Day celebrations St. Fort St. George on 15th August.
The details of traffic diversion for the above 3 days from 6.30 AM till closure of the rehearsal:
The vehicular traffic will remain closed for the stretch of Kamarajar Salai to Napier Bridge up to the RBI subway North on the Rajai Salai and Flag Staff Road.
The vehicular traffic coming on Kamarajar Salai and proceeding towards Parry’s Corner will have to take a diversion to take Swami Sivananda Salai, Anna Salai, Marmalong Bridge, Muthuswamy Road, Raja Annamalai Mandram, and NFS Road to reach Parry’s Corner.
The vehicular traffic coming on Rajaji Salai and proceeding towards Kamarajar Salai will have to take the NFS Road, Raja Annamalai Mandram, Muthuswamy Road, Muthuswamy Bridge, Anna Salai, and Wallajah Road to reach Kamarajar Salai.
The vehicular traffic coming from Muthuswamy Bridge/Anna Salai and proceeding towards Parry’s Corner/Kamarajar Salai vis Flag Staff Road has to take Muthuswamy Bridge, Muthuswamy Road, Raja Annamalai Mandram, and NFS Road to reach Parry`s Corner and Anna Salai. Wallajah Road to reach Kamarajar Salai.
