Henceforth, no problems even if the Smartphone falls down

It is a well-known observation that most of the Smartphone users are extremely concerned and anxious more about keeping it safe even more than when selecting and buying one. The high prices of the Smartphones are the main reason for this. In case it slips and falls down from the hand, many times the screen gets damaged even when there is a protection cover to the phone. The repair charges are rather high that it would be better to for buying a new one, the repair charges and the prices of the spare parts are so high.
Just as there are safety precaution features such as air-bags provided in expansive cars to reduce the extent of damage or loss of lives to the minimum, efforts have been undertaken over the past several years to introduce a similar safety cushion for the smartphones as well. Some people even made efforts to use micro-motors functioning at jet speed. However, all these efforts were failures.
Now, German student, Philip Franzel has invented a new safety cover called ‘AD case’. Though the cover appears like the other ordinary covers, sensors have been fitted in this which extends 4 feet from the cover even as the phone falls down and protects it from any serious damage.
The cover is made with metal springs. The spring operated legs can be folded back into covered position while picking up the phone where it fell and then used again
The special features of this cover are that it is made for regular frequent use and is affordable prices.
German Society of Mechatronics has accorded a national award to Phillip for this effort.
Phillip has already applied for a patent for his invention and is set to market the product AD case along with his friends.
