JioPhone 2 feature phone launched

The JioPhone 2 will support the WhatsApp, FaceBook, and YouTube. The Annual General Meeting of the Reliance Industries was conducted today (Thursday, 5th July). The meeting was conducted at Mumbai. The son and daughter of Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani participated in the meeting and addressed the gathering.
Reliance has resolved to raise India among the top 5 countries in the usage of broadband services in the international arena.
Reliance has invested 2.5 Lakh Crores in the fibre link services. Henceforth, the fibre broadband services will be called as JioGigaFiber.
- To get the JioGigaFiber services, one has to register MyJio or Jio.com
- JioGigaFiber services are set to be started in 1100 Indian cities.
- Jio has resolved to create the digital technology link throughout the country.
- 7500 retail stores are to be set up in this year.
JioPhone 2 from 15th August
Mukesh Ambani informed further that customers can surrender the old Jiophone from 1st August and get it replaced with Jiophone 2 with an additional payment of Rs. 501. Jiophone 2 sales are scheduled to commence on 15th August. The price is Rs. 2999.
Jio Giga set-top box
After announcing the details of Jiophone 2, Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani jointly announced the news regarding the Jio Giga set-top box. The set-top box can provide the experience of watching in a movie theatre with the adoption of 4K technology. Further, the set-top box has the provision to make voice comments on the several languages of India.
The launch of JioPhone 2
Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani jointly made the announcements regarding the launch of Jiophone 2. They told that they have been receiving a continuous stream of suggestions and opinions. They are indeed, full of pleasure, launching Jiophone 2. This phone comes with a key-pad.
Isha Ambani informed that Jio phones can be now used for WhatsApp, FaceBook, and YouTube. Jio phone users can now send messages to other Jiophone users as well as other Android IOS customers.
JioPhone was introduced during the last year’s Annual General Meeting. It was announced that the phone can be procured by paying Rs. 1500. It is more notable that this amount can be repaid after a period of 3 years.
