Dates for SSLC & +2 Public Examinations announced

The dates of the public examinations for the SSLC and +2 classes have been announced early at the start of the academic year.
The State Minister for School Education, K. A. Sengottaiyan, informed that the +2 Public Examinations will start on 1st March 2019 and conclude on 19th March. The results will be announced on 19th April 2019.
+1 Public Examination will be conducted from 6th March to 22nd March 2019. The results would be announced on 8th May 2019.
SSLC Public examination will be conducted from 14th March to 29th March 2019. The results would be announced on 29th April 2019.
As such, the dates have been announced quite early to facilitate the students to start preparations for the Public Examination. The minister further informed that the Examinations results will be announced 10 days earlier than the normal.
