Chennai Rains update (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

With intense rains happening in West Coast and Ghat areas, we have to forget thunderstorms (Damal Dumeel Type) and maybe after 3-4 days, thunderstorm activity will slowly in our state. Today, there is some chance for light rains in Chennai. Winds are from NW are converging with winds from SW close to our Chennai city. As the winds are too fast. Rains wont be everywhere only some part of areas will get rains.
It will be like va ma minnal type of rains if it rains. Dont have too much hopes. While hot days is set to continue in the City in the coming days with 38-39 C. June is the most horrible month as Sea breeze struggle to move in. Sea breeze the magic which feeds the moisture to the clouds moving in, without which Chennai will rarely get Damal Dummel Type rains.
High Winds till Wednesday/ Thursday
For past three days Chennai has been recording gusts of 30-35 km / hr and some places in The high winds are expected till Wednesday across the state. It will high in Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Karur, Trichy, Thanjavur, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari compared to other places.
Heavy rains in Ghats / Dams
Heavy Rains in Valparai, Nilgiri ghat areas, Periyar, Tirunelveli (Papanasam - Manjolai), Kanyakumari (Kodayar - Pechiparai) regions is going to continue till Thursday but on a lesser scale.
