Summer vacation for the schools commences tomorrow (21st April)

The annual examinations for the classes up to 5th Standard has already concluded in most schools including the private, nursery, primary, and matric schools.
The annual examinations are in progress in the government schools. This is concluding today (Friday, 20th April).
So, today being the last working day, the schools will be closed for summer vacation from tomorrow (21st April).
Usually, the annual examinations are scheduled to be over only by the end of April. However, this year (2018), the annual examinations for the government schools have been scheduled to conclude 10 days before the end of April. As the intensity of the summer will be increasingly severe, the annual examinations had been scheduled earlier to conclude early.
So, summer vacation has been scheduled from 21st April to 31st May for the government school students.
Usually, only the month of May is scheduled as the summer vacation. However, the students get an additional 10 days of holidays making up 40 days of summer vacation.
It has been announced that all the schools will reopen on 1st June.
