Awareness Procession of school students against Manja Thread

It is a continuous death occurred due to the manja thread lead by the kite craze in the chennai city. The day before yesterday at Chennai Central Railway station had a shocking incident which is Mr. Jayakanthan who passed away on the bridge by the Manja thread which had cutted his throat and with severe bleeding he was dead at spot and a 17 yr old boy who is a reason for the death was arrested by police.
The Police officials decided to give awareness to the public with the help of school childrens.a several school children from Chindadripet govt schools were organised awareness procession from the schools to several areas of chennai.
Several slogans against Manja thread was been raised by the students and they pledged against the usage of Manja thread.
The Egmore Assistant Commissioner Mr.Jayachandran, Inspectors Subramani and selvam were participated in the procession.
