Aadhar card is compulsory for taking food in the schools

The central government has ordered that the Aadhar card numbers must be registered for the students to take lunch provided in schools.
The officials from the Department of the Human Welfare and Development explained in this regard that the students who take lunch provided by the schools must register their Aadhar card numbers before 30th June. The cook and the assistants who prepare the food must also register their Aadhar card numbers.
An exemption from the above order is given to the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, and Meghalaya.
The officials explained that the new noon meal policy will become more transparent after this order and also enhance the quality. This news has been conveyed to all the states.
